Taraz Kazakhstan Events

I went on a 9-day vacation to Central Asia, to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, to explore the many large cities along the Silk Road. After studying in Kazakhstan in the past, my journey was largely limited to trips to the capital Tashkent and the other major cities of the country, Almaty and Khabarovsk.

From the 1930s onwards, Dzhambul and other places in Kazakhstan became the home of a large number of deportees living in internal exile. There are new monuments that date back to the ancient history of Taraz, as well as a new monument that acknowledges the history between the Khanates and the Soviet era. In the Shambyl region there is an object on the list of national sacred objects of Kazakhstan, the "Kazakhstan Star."
